LYMAN BOAT SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICA, INC.
Mission Statement

• To bring people together with a common interest in the Lyman boat, sharing fellowship, information, experience and exchange of ideas.
  
• To protect the heritage of the Lyman Boat Works by promoting, first the preservation and, secondly, the restoration of historic Lyman boats.
  
• To serve as a communication channel for our membership, the public, and any other entities regarding information relating to Lyman boats. This includes serving as a clearinghouse and referral service for all information relating to Lyman boats.
  
• To serve as the governing body and parent organization for such chapters as shall be formed and created under our auspices; this includes providing support for and communicating with these chapters.
  
• To inspire, conduct and support quality boat shows and related events among our chapters.
  
• To conduct schools to educate the membership and the public in aspects of Lyman restoration and construction
  
• To establish a Lyman museum for the preservation of archives, boats, accessories and historic materials.
